Carla's Bears Den Bar & Grill

​Carla’s Bears Den Bar & Grill is now open for business offering delicious entrees and snacks.   The house specialty is pulled pork sandwiches which come with a basket of six different BBQ sauces, ranging from sweet and mild to hot and spicy. Also available are house-made potato chips, hand-pattied fresh burgers--including the COZY BURGER--and cold draft beer. The Friday specialty is fresh fish fry. Carla’s Bears Den Bar & Grill is located on US Highway 41 in Three Lakes / Michigamme and is open starting at 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.

    The Lumberjack Tavern in Big Bay
    'The Anatomy of a Murder' was based on the true story of a murder in Big Bay.  In 1952, the original owner was murdered at the bar by a man claiming that the owner had raped his wife.  The movie based on this case was filmed around the U.P. but also at the tavern.  This restaurant has good, fresh food but you can also enjoy the many articles posted around the tavern about the making of the movie.
